Setting Clinician Availability

Configure individual clinician schedules, time-off, and availability preferences for optimal appointment scheduling.

Access availability settings

Navigate to Schedule > Availability or click on a clinician's name in the schedule view. Each clinician has a weekly template with configurable time blocks for patient visits, admin time, and breaks.

Set recurring weekly schedule

Define the clinician's standard weekly availability: working days, start/end times, lunch breaks, and admin blocks. Casey uses this template as the baseline for scheduling optimization.

Add exceptions and time-off

Add one-time exceptions (conferences, appointments) and recurring time-off (vacation, holidays). Casey automatically adjusts scheduling around these blocks and can redistribute affected appointments to other clinicians.
